Putrajaya International Convention Centre.
Located on top of Taman Puncak Selatan in Precinct 5, The International Convention Centre is the main convention centre in Putrajaya.
Architectural Style: Malay Contemporary Architecture. Built 2001 - 2003.
The design is said to be based on the shape of the eye of 'Pending Perak' (a silver Malay belt buckle) with a origami-like folding roof. Personally, I think this is Malaysia's Roswell. A stranded space ship visiting from a galaxy far far away... [queue lightsaber].
Dayabumi Complex
Architectural Style: Modern Islamic. Built 1982 - 1984.
A major Landmark in KL, the Dayabumi Complex is one of the earliest skyscrapers in the city. Located near the national Mosque and the Old KL Railway Station. It was designed in a modern Islamic style - adorned with patterns of eight-pointed star over it's facade with Islamic arches at the top and bottom.
The Ministry of Finance Complex, Putrajaya.
The Ministry of Finance is a building complex housing the Malaysian Ministry of Finance. Located opposite the Boulevard and Dataran Wawasan in Precinct 2 (north of the Core island) of Putrajaya.
